 Quality-Assurance Personnel

RANGE RESIDUE REMOVAL (R3)

BSX has a history of successfully performing large IDIQ contracts with the U.S. Navy for R3 services to maintain range holding areas and process Material Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard into Material Documented as Safe. BSX owns unique, custom-built equipment, which makes using BSX safer and more economical than other companies, including:

  • Bomb crushers
  • Hydraulic shears to process items like mortars and full-scale bombs. Also used to cut up target debris, reducing volume for shipping and make recycling more efficient
  • Excavator-mounted magnet to assist with handling MPPEH
  • Two hydraulically operated sorting belts and shaker tables with cross-belt magnets
